## How an AI agent can help a traveler book

1. Find the event at `/events/{slug}` (see the full catalog) or browse `/amenities`.
2. On an event page, pick a travel day with the date picker; amenities with no open slot that day are hidden.
3. Open an amenity for price, capacity, what's included, booking cutoff and refund terms.
4. Press "Book now", choose quantity and date, then continue to secure checkout (Stripe). Or use the purchase API below.
5. After paying, passes (QR codes) appear in My Bookings.

## Buying on a traveler's behalf (API)

AI assistants can complete purchases for a signed-in traveler:

- Headers: `Authorization: Bearer <traveler session token>`, `apikey: <public anon key>`, `Content-Type: application/json`

- `mode`: `pay_link` (returns `pay_url` for the traveler to pay), `auto` (charges the traveler's saved card, only if they turned on "Let AI assistants buy for me" at /account/payment-methods and the total fits their limits), `best` (auto, else pay link).
- Responses: `status` is `paid`, `awaiting_payment` (with `pay_url`), or `not_charged` (with `reason`). Prices are always set by DreamAmenity; send an `idempotency_key` to avoid double bookings.

## Rules agents should know

- Each amenity shows a booking cutoff (usually 12–48 hours before) and its own change/refund terms.
- Some event dates are marked "provisional" on the page until organizers confirm them.
- Canonical event URLs are `/events/{slug}`; `/e/{slug}` and `/event/{slug}` redirect there.
- Private areas (admin, vendor and organizer consoles, bookings, messages) require sign-in and should not be crawled.
